Today's result is /exactly/ the reason we needed to exit from the cup
asap. This is the last of the Cup effect games. Now, onwards and
upwards. We now need to knuckle down, forget ManU and Spurs, think
Orient and Walsall and /get the hell out of this league/ that we don't
belong in.
Yes, we have Carlisle as distraction still, but I don't believe that has
the same effect as the big FA Cup games. It is the mental energy as much
as physical that is used up in the big games against the Premier clubs.
SG needs to get himself and the team focussed again. If he can do that
(I think he can), we will walk this wth games to spare.
