What utter drivel!
This result is exactly what we should be expecting, we don't have a
god given right to win or to get promotion, no-one does. Hartlepool
may not be the most glamorous of clubs but they are often a team we
struggle against, admittedly we've never lost but an away point is not
to be scoffed at wherever it's earned at.
Funny how it's only right when we score a late goal against premier
league opposition but when we concede one it's because the players and
manager have lost their focus.
Bloody good job you haven't lost your focus though eh Alec? You know
what's important! You'd have played the reserves on Wednesday, and
thus defrauded 32000 REAL Leeds United fans who'd paid their hard
earned to watch their team square up to the fancy dans.
As for promotion with games to spare, be careful what you wish for
Alec, if you struggle to accept an away draw with the monkey hangers
on a cold miserable Saturday afternoon in February, how are you gonna
cope with a home hammering from Blackpool on a sunny afternoon in
August?

Yes, we have Carlisle as distraction still, but I don't believe that
has the same effect as the big FA Cup games. It is the mental energy
as much as physical that is used up in the big games against the
Premier clubs.
SG needs to get himself and the team focussed again. If he can do
that (I think he can), we will walk this wth games to spare.
