Blimey Michael, have you just returned from rose-tinted city :-)

Interesting choice of eulogy with John Wayne, or Marion Morrison as he was
born! How much more successful would he have been with the immortal line "Is
that you Marion??" At least Michael Jackson was Michael Jackson. No that I
grasp what you're on about re MJ.

It seems that you're holding up Scum players that died at Munich as heroes -
not sure why. A nation looked up to them? Nah, felt sorry and all that, but
that's about it! Tragic and all that, but more people died last week in
countless places through no fault of their own. I'm sick of the
anniversary-itis that the UK is riddled by - 52 yrs since Munich, 20 years
since uncle Bob caught his todger in the zip etc!

As a kid is how I remember it. And that is how I want to remember it.
In those days Good was good and Bad was bad.

A nation looked up to them. You cannot change
that.
And singing tawdry chauvinistic puerile songs about a tragic death is bad.
Very bad.
