1st game was at home to Sheff Utd. in the old 1st Division (Barclays?) - 4-3.
1st year back? 90-91 time?
Tony Agana got all 3, I think. Sterland got a penalty.
No one in my family watched football, or even liked it. Those that did were
from Manchester and supported Man Utd.
Mate at college endlessly watched Leeds, so went to a game once with another
(Man City) mate when he started Uni at Leeds.
Went and stayed at his, had far too much weed and the next day was suffering
the effects of 3 trips and was not in a good way, such that I remember nothing
except the kop going mental (standing), Agana's breakaway goals, Sterland's
penalty, Strachan scoring?, the old East Stand and everyone moaning walking
down the old steps afterwards.
