Well, yes at least he was there. I wasn't because it was only announced
the day before that he would be attending and as I don't leave work until
6.30 (at the earliest) and the meeting started at 7 I had no time to
reorganise my work and make the 1 hour journey to Leeds.

I have, though, read verbatim accounts of the questions asked and the
answers given as written by those who were there and who were taking
notes. His answers to questions weemed very vague to me, and the right of
reply was denied to a number of those asking questions.

At one point Lorrimer became irritated with some of the questions asked
and said that Bates was the only one willing to pay for LUFC and got his
chequebook out asking Krasner "How much do you want?" This is at odds
with Bates' previous statements that he didn't put a penny of his own
money into Leeds United.

I wasn't anti-Bates initially, in fact to start with I thought he was
doing a good job. But over the years as his lies and contradictory
statements emerge for what they are, I have become extremely worried for
the future of our club as long as it remains in his hands.

You mean turning up to 30 games a season and spending hundreds of pounds a
year through the club in tickets and club merchandise?

Why would he need to with you here?

I know what it was, but you quoted the article from the OS which quoted an
interview with him on Yorkshire Radio (which, incidentally, is costing
LUFC 600,000 a year). If you pay as much attention to what you quote as
you do to LUFC, no wonder you feel able to stand up for Bates.
