Like I say Matt. What you like, I might not. I know some particularly
insightful van drivers! But if it's going to be a 'democracy' then why
INVENT boundaries to manipulate the figures?
You seem to think a PR system will mean we end up in the hands of the
meeja and right wing, I actually think you are WAAAAAYYYYY off the mark.
Remember Old Labour? Remember a genuine left of centre view, not the
watered down right alternative to the Tories we have now? Maybe, finally
after 20 years, they would have a genuine alternative. It would probably
mean the death knell to the Labour party in it's current format, but I
(for one) think that would be the re-ignition of party politics we
desperately need.
