Wasn't going to get involved in this thread as I'm not particularly
political but I'm traditionally a new labour voter and will probably go that
way again but I live in a safe labour seat (Greenwich) but my MP is an idiot
and I want rid of him but not Cameron or clegg in. The confusion between
party politics and local issues annoys me too!

I think in a democracy PR would be fairer because and in contrast to my last
statement if we have 5% of the population who are committed BNP voters then
that's the way it should be under our system.  

I just want a decent competent figurehead running the country with a crack
team of experts assisting him and I don't believe our voting system allows
that to happen. Who those experts are and what they believe should be a
matter for informed competent people to decide (not me),  be they left right
or in the centre!
