The Merri Creek runs from the north of Melbourne to join the Yarra River at 
Collingwood.

Friends of Merri Creek is a community group which works to preserve and 
restore the natural beauty of this waterway.

On Sunday 4 June there will be a litter group working bee near the Rushall 
Station bridge in Fitzroy North (Melways ref 30 D11) from 10.00am. For

There will also be a planting at Coburg Lake, (Melways ref J10) meeting at 
the footbridge near the toilets from 10.00am. For further details contact
