I make small items on my machines. As far as legacy making the woodchuck as late as 2004, that would be news to me. I don't have the actual dates that production stopped on that unit. In 2000 they switched to aluminum rails so I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you got a version of a red machine but as far as I know the MA-12 designation was reserved for the Woodchuck model. The purchaser never opened the boxes and they have been on the top shelf in his business since then. The packing slip list various items related to MA12. The invoice total was $2409.00. I paid him $850.00 for the 10 boxes, or $3.06 per pound- (not including shipping costs). UPS will deliver the shipment to me on Tuesday (8/27). Please let me know if you have an idea as to what I bought. (I am wondering if it is similiar to the Woodchuck I use to own). It will be interesting to see what Santa brings me. :-) Have fun with your Legacy and remember, SAFETY FIRST. Best Regards all, Dewell T Crews Legacy still made a woodchuck in 2004. I didn't realize that. Well, I loved the Woodchuck I had, so I should be set. I don't remember it weighing 277 pounds, of course that was 1994 when I purchaed my woodchuck.
