Oops Sorry for the duplicate post.

Thanks to all who responded to my original questions.

Curt - I practiced a bit with some 4x4s. Once I felt reasonably adept, I
made four table legs with red oak. I am able to report that I'm pleased with
the results. Each leg had 4 beads and 6 flutes. I realized that's
rudimentary work compared to the double and triple turnings that some of you
are doing, so I'll keep working and learning.

Aussiman - I'd be very interested in reading through some of the old posts.
Can you tell me how to get to the archives?

Thanks once again,

Jon

Hello to All,

I've been lurking here for a while. However, my recent retirement now allows
me to spend more time in the shop. At the top of my agenda is to become more
familiar with my Legacy, an old manual model 900. My first of many questions
is about the group here. Is the focus on the manual machines, CNC
computerized models or both?

Also, have any of the more experienced users created tutorials or you tube
videos offering instructions to newbies?

Thanks in advance,

Jon
