I think it was also realized that a majority of legacy owners who were
also turners, chose the ShopSmith as their weapon of choice. I for one,
started as a wood turner, purchased a ShopSmith because of space, and
now only use it as a lathe. My business is pretty much built on the
ability to turn as well as mill. 23 years later .................
