question to anyone who might have the answer...can you use these 4X gears 
on a typical legacy gear carriage?...or would you need the carriage that 
was shown in the manual that tim posted?...if these gears were for the 
model 2000, which had a 13" turning capacity, is that different gear 
carriage a necessity?...since the gear carriage on the 2000 is longer than 
any typical legacy carriage...thanks...joe
