I do have  1" X 8 thread check but it only opens to 3" I think. The legs I were 
turning for a table are 4" and 5" Sq at topInline image 2

Oh, I already said that.  Does the headstock have a threaded head for adding a 
4 jaw chuck?  I rarely use my LOM dogs anymore since adding one to my LOM.  
Does it have the #1 morse taper headstock?
