I forgot, Spirograph patterns are a different story. I have a complicated solution that is limited. I'm still looking for the simple and flexible answer. When using the rotary table hooked up to the spindle and the leadscrew engaged, you can only achieve roulette curves. See wiki for that last word. Thanks go to Ron Kirsch for the math help a long time ago. He helped me see the limitations.
