Perhaps you could find a binder that makes the Paraffin dry quicker, and perhaps make it last a longer/ ware factor??? On The Wood Chuck paraffin wax (caning wax) is the only lube. that you need, Sadly it dose not work as well on the Legacy, (for a side line that I have not thought of, On my Shop-Smith, I use paste floor wax (Johnston & Johnston) ( I have never thought of trying it on the Legacy's rails...) It might work there too? Dyna-Glide is a wax based product when I tried lamp oil for the first time, I figured what do I have to loose? spray on, and then wipe off in a min. or two. (the alcohol or dryer makes it dry faster.) By the way, Sure Shot has Dyna-Glide in it. I too have used it in the past, Works, I cant say which is better?
