They are Nema 23 stepper motors with 48 volt power supply. I used the original
screws that came on the machine and tuned the steps to them. Here is the box I
used -

Hi

I have several questions I was wondering if you would be kind enough to answer.
1) What size motors are you using?  (Nema 23, 31)
2) Are they stepper motors?
3)What is the voltage that you are using?
4) Are you using the atlas screws that came with the Legacy or have you
replaced them with something else?

Thank you.

Harvey

Finally have my 900 Legacy OM with Avid cnc control running and making parts.
Runs on mach 4 with ethernet smoothstepper, programs made in vcarve pro. I
import stl files, apply tool paths and run. I set it up with pepprl and fuchs
proximity sensors also, and added a 3 inch drag chain for cable management. I
originally thought that I would have issues with the machine wiggling, but the
bracketry for the drag chain took alot out. I may eventually manufacture a
tailstock that holds a live center, but the dead center is ok for now.
