Must have been a artisan's "lifetime effort" - if done by one person.

I still have not given up on trying to make the zig zag spiral turning, but so for I have found out a few ways that have not worked. ;-(

Any How I found this pix. that has some more stone turnings that I thought everyone might like.

I have no idea, but where this is or the scale of the spindles? What I do like are the number of different roped patterns,
