material is Soapstone which like Alibaster is a very soft stone with a slightly
waxy feel. That little pot of mine is 2" diameter by 3.35" tall. Very enjoyable
to turn and I can see no reason it would not turn on any Legacy manual machine.
I have a couple of pieces ready to turn by my workshop door, one is pink the
other a pale turquoise and other colours are available see Small Block
pictures. You buy it by weight and you take aa rule to get some idea of size
and what you think you may get out of it.

I have no idea, but where this is or the scale of the spindles? What I do like
are the number of different roped patterns,
