In 2006 I bought a brand new Legacy 1200 with Z-axis upgrade, extra gear set, rotary table, and a design kit. At that point in time I also began my house rebuilding, so as a result, I didn't put the LOM together. Finally, in November of 2019 I assembled the machine. I played around with it, but I discovered something strange. I have been a hobbyist woodworker for decades and have a very good setup here. Over the years I have purchased some very good machines and obtained a lot of good tools. But somehow I lost the interest in the LOM and didn't have the desire to go through the learning curve to know how to use it well. In addition, as a former CNC machinist, I was somewhat disappointed in the stability of the machine. Also, I have been really enjoying my basic machines, and I have been getting a number of orders for the Murphy beds that I build. The end result? Out of the blue someone contacted me and wondered if I still had it. He saw Andy demo the machine way back in 2006 at a wood show in Milwaukee (probably the same show I was at) and he has always wanted one. All things aside, my wife and I talked it over and I decided to let it go to someone who had a lot of interest in it and a real desire to use it as it should be used. With that being said, I will now bow out of this group and say my goodbyes. Everyone, have fun with your machines and crank away! I retired two years ago, got married a bit over a year ago, and am now preparing to build a house in the Philippines so that we can spend three months per year over there. And soon I may make a move across the country to be near my daughter and three grandkids. (25, 21, and 11) Take care everyone. Ryan Jurgens(414) 975-5860rtjurg...@sbcglobal.net
