Hi Dan
Not at this moment. the styles is solidly mounted, 1/2" rod. Latter I do plan
to make other adaptors to cover a wide range of bits. but at this time, its
what you see is what you get.  For the time being, I plan to add details to the
work like roping on a curve and fluting. As I see it, the styles is just a
pointer or a limit to where the router can and can not go.  (I do know that its
more then that. But as least for the time being, this is my starting place or
point, and not the finish-line to this concept. I'm a long way form being done
with this. )   ;-) thank you.

Subject: New Front mounted template follower

Hello everyone.

It may not looks like much. but I finally got my template follower to work. Its
rock solid,

fully adjustable, and holds 1/4" templates well.

The trick to use the template follower on the Legacy that I have found, is to
have the template follower only control the Y axis, and the X axis is moved by
the acme screw/ motor to move the carriage.

Legacy design was to have the follower in the back of the machine, I found in
the past, it was much easer to control the template movement if the follower
was in front of the machine.  Since I re-designed my machine, a few years ago.
I needed to change and adapt the follower so it again could be used on my
Legacy.

So Yes a template follower in front can and will get in the way when not needed
So I made this, follower is easy to remove and quick to re-install when needed.
so now you see it, latter you wont. ;-)

This may not be for everyone, but it just might help others in our group to
start thinking?

There are lots of possibility's out there for using a template with the Legacy.

More latter.
