There actually already is an internal "sort date" (EventSD) in tblER. It
defaults to -99999999 for blank dates. But sorting of events as
presented to the user is done by the Order column. When a new event is
inserted, it is assigned an Order number equal to the highest Order
number already assigned to that individual + 1. I am sure that EventSD
is used internally by Legacy to reshuffle the Order numbers when the
"Sort Events by Date" menu item is clicked.
