I think there there was an earlier discussion on this, but I want to
make sure I do it right.
I am stuck trying to correctly identify my maternal GGGF. I have found a
good possibility, but am not sure if he and his family are really my
ancestors. I would like to set up this person and his family, etc. as a
separate experimental family with a fake file name, but use real names
within the file. I want to then add information as I find it to see
where it leads. Is there a way to do this so that it does not affect or
mess up the Legacy data in my other "legitimate" family records. If it
turns out to actually be my line, I want to be able to transfer it to my
family file. If it turns out to be a blind alley I want to be able to
delete the entire family, without affecting my other data.
Hope this is clear. Any and all help will be greatly apprececiated.
