Ron,

When I reformated I had to start all over with customizing the options. I would like to be able to save my settings, so I can import them & not have to change every little detail (color, check boxes, etc).

Kirstin,

I am not clear about the first part of your question. There is no real need to back-up these files as if they become corrupted then they can just be deleted and Legacy will recreate them when you reset your settings. The point I was making was only in relation to an occasion when one wanted to reformat the disc and not as a general back-up. I don't back them up - except that if a new version of Legacy comes out I do as a "just in case" precaution.

The files in question are those which have a .USR extension and assuming that you are using the Legacy defaults may be found by going to My Computers>Local Disc (C)>Legacy.

Hope this helps.
