I have some paper family history records from various family members
that were created about 20 years ago. By looking at the handwriting, I
can tell that one person wrote some information, but someone else wrote
additional information. However, that distinction is lost with
computers. I have teenagers in my household who do genealogy research
and add their fruits to my database. Maintaining separate databases
doesn't make sense, but I'd like to know if I was the researcher or it
was child 1, 2, etc. The date would also be handy as a future
evaluation tool. (i.e.: Knowing this child was 12 at the time vs. 18
gives me an idea of her experience when that research was done.) Is
there a way to log in as individual users and then have a date &
inputter stamp identify the work? For now, we're typing [name date] at
the end of each citation.
