The problem with the relationship calculation is to do with "half" relations. I certainly don't get such an error.
 
It sounds more likely that there is something in your data that has created this "relationship". The best way to see if this is the case is to go to Mary and then use Tools/Relationship Calculator. Set the right hand person to yourself and see how what common ancestors are showing up in the top part of the screen.

I have a weird situation happening..

 

Archie                                               wife Mary

(is my 2nd great-granduncle)              (is my 2nd great-grandaunt BY MARRIAGE)

 

Archie’s parents                                  Mary’s parents

(are my 3rd great-grandparents)            (should be nothing to me, correct? Yet Legacy is also saying they are my 3rd great-grandparents)

 

Is this part of the current relationship glitch? Or am wrong on my take?
