While this does not have to do with Legacy, it is important to trace
the county progression for research purposes. If they were in "abc"
county in 1850, then you find
them in "efg" county in 1860, you and fellow researchers might think
they moved. But
they did not. It can either be a new county or county lines changed.
Records you are
trying to find will usually stay where they were created.
