I am a lumper, so I started with just one source "Personal Communication" for all emails and phone calls that provided me with information. However as I go more and more of these (several hundred from over 75 persons), I decided to create a Master Source for each individual. In addition to not having one source with so many Detailed Source entries, I like the way it reads now. However, making this change entailed quite a bit of work.
Based on my experience, I would recommend you create at least a separate Master Source for each individual even if you are a lumper. If you later decide you want them combined, Legacy provides the tool to do this (it would be VERY easy to do if you put the persons name in the Source Detail when you create each Detail Source entry so you don't have to add it before combining). My two cents worth.
