Hi Jim, I used to use Reunion when I had a Mac, they had an option on their report menu so that you could first select the relationship of a particular person to all others in the file. Once done, when you printed your family group sheets they would come out John Jones 2nd Gr.Grandfather etc. in addition to the RIN and MRIN #'s. It eliminated the need to go to an indexed report of relationships to find out how that person is related to you. Extremely convenient and ultimately making memorizing your 8th Gr Grandparents names easier as you see it each time you're working on the file. Hope this clarification helps and sooo glad to hear it wil be available in the new version Leslie ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Keener To: LegacyUserGroup@legacyfamilytree.com Sent: Sunday, December 09, 2007 1:18 PM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Relationship designation
Would someone elaborate on what exactly Leslie is talking about. I'm not sure what is meant by printing a relationship to a family group sheet.
