Ron,
Over the years, I have just plopped all my individuals into a single .fbd file. If I had a change of heart and wanted to separate all the unconnected individuals into a new .fbd file, is there a way I can find them? I do not know enough about Legacy to "assemble" such a search.
Thanks,
Arnold

John,

There are basically two ways of doing this within Legacy:
1) Add them as unrelated individuals on your main file ie. as separate tree(s) (Add>New Unlinked Individuals). 2) Create a separate .fbd file with a new name eg. "Casuals.fdb" (File>New Family File)and put them all in there. There are obvious plusses and minuses with each and at the end of the day it's, again, your choice.

Is there a general place to record such information. Such as a general notes file OR does one have to set up a file in some other program such as Windows My Docs
