Jenny, You can/need to use "31 March 1851 - 4 April 1853" in place of "31 March 1851 and 4 April 1853".
Problem should be solved. Then use your sources to source the occupation and dates "birth certificates of a man's 2 children, both of which gave his occupation as "Labourer". There is no proof that he was a Labourer from 1851 to 1853, so I wanted to indicate that he was so described on 2 occasions, rather than make 2 separate Event entries." In this case, I had the birth certificates of a man's 2 children, both of which gave his occupation as "Labourer". There is no proof that he was a Labourer from 1851 to 1853, so I wanted to indicate that he was so described on 2 occasions, rather than make 2 separate Event entries. I presume this is not possible? (Incidentally, this chap was first an Apprentice Carpenter, later a Policeman, then a Labourer, then a Carter, then a Porter!) -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
