It is not that difficult to exclude living people from a GEDCOM to be uploaded to the Internet. Rather than trust others to follow your note, I would remove the people in advance. I am not sure about doing it when creating the export in Legacy, but freeware programs like GEDClean can do it. http://www.raynorshyn.com/gedclean/Features.html I have used a program called Res Privata but the links to download that seem to be invalid.
