I can't imagine that the time needed to find a source, load the
clipboard and then assign it to the relevant people before finding
the next source, loading the clipboard and assigning it is any
greater than finding several sources at once, loading the clipboard
with all of them and then checking that they are ALL relevant with
the same source detail to the people concerned.
If they are, you would shorten the time to add one particular source
by tagging the group and using Advanced Sourcing.
Since you could juggle the 5 Source Clipboard tabs without adding
incorrect sources, then you will be able to sort out the complexities
of Advanced Sourcing. I don't use it as one wrong click and you've
created a mess with an inappropriate source added to the a group of people.
It's a matter of changing the order of your work flow.
I'm certainly looking forward to not having to explain to people that
all 5 tabs attach at once, not just the one you bring to the front as
so many thought. Perhaps it will be replaced by suggestions to check
out Advanced Sourcing ;-)

I agree that the V6 ability to add multi sources to a single item
[like birth] was very good.
Example, you have located a family on multi census records and want
to use one clipboard click to add all the different sources to a
single item [like birth]
It's loss is already missed.

With the change in V7, now you have to quick load each source to the
clipboard and then click again to add it to a single item [like birth]
The other new button [or ALT-3] added is to add a single source to
'EVERY' item that is other than blank [like
name,birth,bap,death,burial] which it really overkill.....
Why not allow this same button add all the up to 5 sources to a
single highlighted item [like birth]
So far I have not located how to
"ASSIGN MORE THAN ONE SOURCE AT A TIME"
There seems to be no way to accomplish this feature.
I have been using the Help file for Clipboard
Sources [5-1182] which apprarently still need corrections.
Any assistance/comments would be appreciated

I guess I'm the weird one because I liked the 5 tabs. Now I will have to
master the 'save and load' feature.
I think the '5 tabs' are mentioned in the V7 Manual.

Bring up the source detail is behaving as it always has. In other words,
when the clipboard button is clicked, you have already assigned the master
source, and now you just need to enter the detail information. Maybe you
haven't yet set the clipboard with the master source. Click on the top
button to do this first.
Regarding the 5 different tabs. We actually removed this because 1) it was
hardly used; 2) when it was used, people thought it was supposed to do
something else. Anyways, it was just way too confusing. We've had many
people now thank us for removing this. You can still save/load clipboards
using the save/load buttons. It is these buttons that most people wanted,
and they perform the functions that users thought the 5 tabs were supposed
to perform.

When I select to arrow to use the clipboard, it goes directly to
'Add Source Detail'.
I cannot find where to access the 5 tabs to add 5 different sources.
