Are you the reason this was added? It's entirely possible that someone's
real name or surname could be Unknown. I know people whose surnames are
Tomorrow and Yesterday.

They show up as problems when you run a potential problem report. Suits me
though - I have never liked "unknowns" and much prefer to leave them blank

What exactly is happening with your unknowns? A good percentage of my
females are Mary UNKNOWN or even: Unknown UNKNOWN. Maybe I haven't used 7
enough, but I haven't seen any problems so far.

to do instead? Son/Daughter works when the sex is known. What for the
