Are you using a shortcut for Legacy that is still pointing to Legacy 6? Just an
idea.

version...right?

Well...on my desktop it says Legacy 7 but when I open it It shows

using a flashdrive to transfer my program...I didn't have this probelm when I
transferred also shows Legacy 7 on my laptop desktop as well...sorry to be a
pain...but I'm really at a loss here. - Deb

Deb,Just wondered - I was puzzled! If you delete the Legacy 5 from the Desktop
all you are doing is deleting theIcon, nothing else. This is true of pretty
well all programs, as very few willinstall to the Desktop. You main find that
some programs use the Desktop asstorage for a set-up file from which their
program is installed onto yourcomputer (Open Office is one example) but when
the program has been installedeven that can be deleted.Ron

cannot understand why you might wish to go back to version 5. However, Youare
correct version 7 does overwrite previous versions if it is installed inthe
same folder. Furthermore, if you have run version 7 then an earlier versionwill
not be able to open your files. If you haven't over written yourback-up you
should be able to use File>File Restore to open in an earlierversion.Oh, and
why is it a
 problem?Ron
