Yes, Bill. That is what has influenced me and, in some cases, confused me. When you learn to walk with one program, it is hard to step to the tune of another.

TMG already has this. They have a place to enter a sort date. If you have an event date but enter a different sort date the event will sort with a sort date.
If you don't have an event date you can enter a sort date and it will sort with 
that date.
If you don't enter a sort date it will sort with the event date and if you 
don't have either an event date or sort date it will sort to the top of the 
event list.
