However using "between xxxx and yyyy" can cause problems in webpages with fixed sized boxes (as may be produced by Legacy). I do not produce many reports but I can see it also causing problems with some reports eg Individual. I know that these boxes can be expanded but then the whole may not fit in the page width. So practicalities can cause one not to include a date.
