OK, got it now. Thanks. I was missing the Show Entire Source button.

Does that work?

Ann,
I suspect you have not updated to the latest version - they do
now, both the Master Source and Detail Source IDs. Version
7.0.0.55 <http://7.0.0.55>

Perhaps the Legacy folks haven't noticed how the file ID #
has been
affected. Maybe they will see these messages and being the
clever folks they
are change back to how it was in v6.

That's why I no longer use the Sourcewriter. Critical
to me that the File
ID prints in reports (that option is checked) and
appears in the source
screen. Sourcewriter seems to see the File ID as
"extra" and disposable

In the assigned sources before SourceWriter to see the
sources File ID # I
could click on Show Entire Source to see the File ID #.
If I use SourceWriter this no longer works, I have to
click on Edit Source
or Edit Detail to see the File ID #. Write the # down,
then click close.
It seems to me it was more efficient to be able to see
the File ID # with
one click as it was before SourceWriter.
