Cathy, Not sure this specifically applies but I found that if you hover your pointer over the specific location you want in "road" view (doesn't work in bird's eye view) and right click, the software will ask you if you want to move the marker to the right clicked location, just say yes and it should automatically register. Thanks for the information on my problem with residences, looks to be just what I needed! Tom McKeever

Here's the correct information: I located a specific address on Virtual Earth (came with Legacy 7.0 Deluxe Edition). When I tried to edit the current general city location in Legacy from a general Longitude/Latitude for the city to a specific Longitude/Latitude for the address, Legacy gave me an error message "The number 338504 is not in the format of ddmmss.xx latitude coordinate where: dd=degrees between 00 and 90 mm=minutes between 00 and 59 ss=seconds between 00 and 59 The "center of the city" (which Legacy created) was longitude was 335318 and latitude was 1181829. Virtual Earth listed the specific address as longitude=33.8504 and latitude=118.3053. I tried to enter the numbers without the decimals but got the above error message. In the longitude, the degrees of 33 seems OK but the minutes of 85 is larger than the allowed 59 and the seconds of 04 seems OK. Can anyone explain how this all works? Thanks.
