Kirsten,

I am not convinced that this is a different problem. I have not found text and
sources jumbled up, but what seems to be happening with OOo is that it inserts
its own footnote number and doesn't use the Legacy superscript references. Does
this happen in Word?

As I mention previously, this means that when Legacy merges references eg when
there are two for an Event then the OOo number and the Legacy reference get out
of sync.

I cannot check this in Wordpad until the old style rtf is restored

The output in Pedigree web pages is fine and tomorrow I will be running Family
Group style web pages. I do not expect a problem with this either as a
di8fferent mechanism is used for creating/sourcing web pages.
