I just tried that and it will won't let me assign more than one source to a single AKA. It is weird because it is only the case when the SOURCE is the same but the DETAIL is differnet. I have some other cases where I have added completely different sources to a single AKA entry and it will record multiple sources.

Jenny,

I haven't got time to check this out at the moment, so I'm going, off memory. I suspect what Michele may be doing is to enter the death then the the source with child 1 in the detail, then clicking the blue line agin and entering child2 and repeating. I think in this way only one source will be recorded.

If it is first saved before entering the second and saved each time before repeating I suspect it will be ok.

Here is the situation...

I have 5 children graves that have this information on their markers...

Daughter of (or son) Willie O. & Dora S. Lewis

Each child has a different source (same source, different detail) for all
of
their facts surrounding these markers (name, date of birth, date of
death).

I am sourcing the AKAs for the mother and father. When I assign the first
child's source to the mother and father's AKA all is good. When I try to
add another child's source to the AKAs it won't take it. Legacy thinks it
is the same source even though the DETAIL is different.

The SOURCE is the cemetery that I went out and surveyed this morning. The
DETAIL is the individual child's name on the marker.

Legacy is just seeing the source and not the detail and won't assign the
different sources to the one fact (the mother and father's AKA)

Please could you detail exactly the steps you are taking to assign these
sources as I have I am unable to replicate this problem: I have many
instances of people having the same Master Source twice, with different
Details, for the same Event/Fact.
