Mark,

This topic is rather off-topic for this list and I suggest that you visit the
Web Users Legacy site at: http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/WUL/ and ask there.

For those more technically inclined I found this info on my providers website.

What server-side scripting options does iiNet have?

Perl 5.8 (for CGI scripting). File extension is .cgi or .pl - see CGI Help for
more information.
PHP 4.3.10 (For standalone PHP scripts). File extension is .php - see PHP Help
for more information.
SSI. File extension is .shtml - see SSI Help for more information.

I am looking at putting my gene info on the web BUT only so authorised people I
know can access it.

I have several people looking for info from my data file and this seems the
easiest ongoing way of giving other access to the information.

How then do I set up the web pages so that someone needs a login and pw to
access the information?

ty for any assistance
