Thank you to you who wrote giving me advice on my backup problems. I wrote the
other day asking how I could create a new backup each week in case I need to
go back to a certain point in my data entry.
I think I am starting to understand now. I guess I was confused as to the
difference between a working family file (fdb) and the ZIP files.
One more question about backups...
Now that I am starting to understand the backup procedures and how to save
family files, is it ok if I go into the Legacy/Data folder and delete all of
the extraneous files I created? As long as I have my main family file open, it
will automatically save it?
Thanks so much. I am having a hard time changing my mindset from FTM to Legacy
and this group has been very helpful.
