I see now what you mean. In my example below, William Towers' last
name should ***not ***have printed out because he and Margaret, his
daughter, shared the same surname.

County, NY, died on 25 Jul 1964 in Tucson, AZ at age 53, and was
buried in South Corinth, Saratoga County, NY (Maplewood Cemetery,
Route 9N, [South Corninth Rural Cemetery], South Corinth, New York).
The above does show the surnames when I go to print a "Descendant
Book" or Modified Register report. The numbers after each name
appear in superscript in the report.

I'm creating a Descendant Report. The names in parentheses comes always in a
Descendent report to show the ancestry - me, then in parenthesis my dad, his
mother, her dad, her dad's dad, to the oldest ancestor in that
line. I'll wait to
see what the Legacy Support Team reports back to me.
