I always thought (and used) triangle means add to the current highlighted one, and the three bars means ALL lines. But since I never wanted that, I didn't confirm if my 'guess' was right. Rich in LA CA

It's not so. Using the "3 bar" icon copies the contents of the Source Clipboard to *all* fields which have data in them.
