I have been trying 7.4 on the newFamilySearch. It works great except for one problem: The list of names on the left that are being worked on can be scrolled by the wheel on the mouse. But I often wish to scroll the screens on the right, and am used to using the wheel. When the mouse cursor is on the data screens on the right, I expect that screen to scroll with the wheel, but instead I move a name on the left list and the program obediently starts to retrieve the new data. I recognize that the wheel works that way in many programs, and I can have that problem in those programs, but it seems that the wheel would be more useful in moving the data rather than selecting a name on the list.
