Scott, When you make changes to program settings (user settings) these are not actually saved until you exit the program *properly*. If Legacy crashes, or you use the Task Manager to end Legacy, or your computer suddenly looses power, the settings changes you made don't get saved. As a result Legacy reverts to what it was previously customized for.

I'm also happy about the File Repair feature, which along with the instructions on the specific error, solved the issue. I remain a little puzzled why some settings (such as the headers in the Index View) reverted to their defaults after the power outage, but these are minor compared to the potential of a corrupted database. Fortunately, that turned out to not be the case for me. The battery idea is a good one ... I may look into that.
