This problem pops up at least once a year on the LUG. If you have an individual with 2 events, one event WITH a 1911 date and one event WITHOUT, what happens when you tell Legacy to list individuals WITHOUT a 1911 date? It will list this individual because at least one of the dates WAS NOT 1911.
So if you really want to find individuals WITHOUT any 1911 events, you should first tag everyone in your database. Then search for individuals WITH a 1911 event. Then UNTAG these individuals. The tagged individuals that are left are those WITHOUT any 1911 events. Confused yet?
