I use each one as a Source and attach it to every person and fact/event to which it applies. Even though the information may not be proven at first, it is sometimes the only information I had. If I am able to verify the informtion from another source later on, I add that as a second source, but leave the first instact. If subsequent sources showed a chart to be incorrect I would record this in the person's Research Notes and attach the "Chart source" to the Research Notes. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
