There is an option to choose "classic" I think it's called. I tried the new 
version and hated it, so switched back to classic. It doesn't look quite the 
same, but better than the new one. I can't remember, but it was probably at the 
top under options and settings? Anyhow, I didn't have to unsubscribe and 
resubscribe.

They also asked me if I wanted to enter info on why I didn't like the new 
version, which I happily told them.

Sorry, this is off topic but there is so little I can offer anyone at this 
point that I hope this helps. I think it did put the mail I sent in a "sent" 
folder, but I didn't use it more than a couple of days.
