I bought a netbook for "out of home usage". It runs all my apps just fine. I can type easily on it. It has a very vibrant screen. Very light and easy to travel with to wherever you go. It is the same size as my plip-pal for those documents you would like to scan that you cannot take with you. It also has a camera built into the frame of the screen. I use it for Skype or maybe a quick picture of something.
I am sorry I cannot answer your original question. My son has a IPhone and it does look to hard to do research on it. It looked like a display only for "Families". I also have a Kindle Touch that stays beside me which works just fine for viewing. I just like my netbook.
